Welcome to Friends of Smithfield Scouting

FOSS is a philanthropic organization dedicated to the continuation of Scouting in Smithfield, VA and the promotion of scouting values of charity and public service. Its mission is to serve as a chartering organization to local Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Troop 7, Cub Scout Pack 7, and Venture Crew 7. FOSS  endeavors to provide financial support and mentorship to Smithfield Scouting organizations to ensure no child or participant is excluded from Scouting due to an inability to pay.
